![]() With the top ten out of the way, it’s now time for some point allocations. Honorable Mentions: Strider 1, Crusaders of Centy, Mega Turican, Alien Soldier, James Bond 007, and Shinobi III.Ģ. But, I digress, let’s recap Part 1 and get it over with. At a rate of fifty games per ten days, it would take me about half a year to finish. The main problem with that is that there are probably about a thousand games between the two systems that I might reasonably be expected to play. Honestly, I wish I hadn’t started this because I’ve become completely obsessed with the idea and can’t get anything else done until I finish. Well, Part 1 is now in the books and I barreled my way through about fifty games over the past ten days. ![]() Sorry if i'm being a bit thick here, but what would be the point of the fan-translated Valken if it is the same game that was released over here as Cybernator?SNES vs. I'm really enjoying it, although I didn't play Cybernator that much so I don't really remember it, I don't think the upgrading and rpg elements were as deep as they are in GH are they? Didn't realise they all had different items. Thanks, I just found Emil's Wanzers for sale in the snowy country shop. The whole mech upgrading thing in GH was great fun, and the huge levels it had.Īnyhoo, no point arguing, I doubt we could convince each-other otherwise.īut I have PMd you about the series (or at least I will, 2 minutes after posting this). I liked both GH and Cybernator (or rather, the fan-translation of Assault Suits Valken). Try flying to different countries, they each have exclusive items.Īlso, Stroker, I totally don't understand your hatred for the game. You can buy another repairing Wanzer, I think in the same country you found the guy. Which is why I gave it screenshot time in my ROM translation article for RG. I loved, no, absolutely adored Gun Hazard, ESPECIALLY in fan-translated form. I'm am massive nerd for Front Mission, so if you have any questions, fire away. The previous Japanese FM games were always very import-friendly, by strategy game standards. ![]() FM5 is fucking amazing, though - it's a terrible shame that every inch of it is in Japanese. I've never said otherwise - it's right up there with one as the best of the series. In addition to the above, we've since had Front Mission 5, which is better than four but entirely in japanese and less accessible than previous Japanese versions of the series, and Front Mission Online, which isn't a strategy game but is instead some kind of massive shooter set in the FM universe.įront Mission 3 is good. Gun Hazard is a crappy Cybernator clone and Alternative is a real-time strategy game, rather than the usual turn-based business.
